Settling In

I know I still have to write my travel stories, I will, soon. Before that, a little bit on how I lived these past couple of days. New year's eve was nothing special. I have never been much of a party animal. I was at home packing for the hostel. Switched on the TV for a while but there was nothing on that held my interest. I was asleep when at about half past midnight, this dear friend of mine calls up to wish me. I can hardly hear him over the "music" in the background and neither could my half asleep brain make sense of his words. (I say the most nonsensical things when woken up, or so I am told!) I think he was incredulous about me missing out on life, shocked that I am even today as boring as I know he was once. The point is, I like parties fine. But I would rather hang out with a close group of people than blow money on night clubs just to scream, flirt and drunk. Hmm...I thought you could do that anyplace!

The first day was bad. The hostel food tasted worse, we were all bored. Now the routine has set in again and I just realised that I have tons of work to do this semester. I have a feeling it is going to be a good one. Lets see.

I have so many thoughts in my mind right now, so many stories to tell that I just have to post. Will do that later tonight.

Hope you all had a good New Year's.
